I did this painting because I'm concerned with the direction America is going. We all know too well what direction that is. The rainbow is a symbol of beauty, and a rainbow consists of all colors. A rainbow lets us know that the storm is over.
I would like this painting to be used to show a solidarity of belief - that everyone should be treated with love, kindness, and respect.
We Americans are America. We the People. That's us.
